TOPIC: Motivating for Improved Performance
This presentation showcases strategies supervisors could implement to motivate the team and improve performance. We will briefly discuss what motivates employees to stay with a company, how to set expectations, and give feedback to keep the team engaged, motivated, and aligned to performance goals.
PRESENTER: Diana L. Hurt, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, HR Consultant/Owner of Hurt Resources
Diana is an HR Consultant with senior leadership business acumen and over 20 years of HR and Training experience. Her competencies include the strategic aspect of HR including talent management, organizational development, compensation and benefits management with experience at multiple large companies in the area. Diana currently supports several businesses with strategic HR projects, including leadership development, employee retention, workforce planning, and executive coaching. She is also a facilitator and speaker for groups wanting to polish skills related to professionalism, dining etiquette, and business development.
Diana is originally from Jasper, Indiana and currently resides in Evansville. She has a degree in HR Management from Oakland City University and is passionate about mentoring high potential HR talent. She is a member of SHRM and the Evansville-area HR Association.
