Michael Rickaby Receives Sixth Dubois County Relocation Impact Grant
The grant incentivizes out-of-state workers to move to Dubois County.
APRIL 7, 2022 – JASPER, IN – Michael Rickaby has been awarded the sixth Dubois County Relocation Impact Grant.
Dubois Strong, in partnership with The Dubois County Community Foundation and Radius Indiana, awards the $5,000 grants to out-of-state workers choosing to move to Dubois County. Recipients must commit to staying for at least two years. The grant is part of the Make My Move/Choose Southern Indiana initiative with TMap to incentivize out-of-state workers to move to Dubois County.
Michael is relocating from Connecticut and will be working remotely in home insurance claims. He discovered the initiative through makemymove.com as he was searching for new opportunities in other parts of the country. Michael decided on Dubois County due to the beauty of our area, the low-cost of living, and the small-town feel without being too far removed from major markets. He is most looking forward to getting involved in the community through volunteer work.
This grant opportunity provides assistance to Michael in establishing his new life in Dubois County.
