This is the third Gold Seal of Approval for Memorial’s orthopaedic program which has also been recognized for joint replacement, hip and joint replacement and knee replacement.

Memorial’s orthopaedic program underwent a rigorous on-site review in September. Joint Commission experts evaluated compliance with national disease-specific care standards as well as with hip fracture-specific requirements. Clinical practice guidelines and performance measures also were assessed.
