Habitat for Humanity announces new executive director

Sarah Weatherwax will take over as the new executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Dubois County effective July 18, 2016.

Previously, she served as the involvement director at Redemption Christian Church in Jasper and as an adjunct professor at Vincennes University in Jasper. She has an MA in Arts Administration from Eastern Michigan University and a BA in English from Michigan State University.

According to Weatherwax, she is looking forward to working with Habitat to put God’s love into action in Dubois County.

She and her family are Michigan natives who moved to Jasper in 2010.

Habitat for Humanity’s stated mission is to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.
