For the third consecutive year, Kimball International has been certified as a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work.
Kimball International earned this credential based on extensive ratings provided by its employees in anonymous surveys. A summary of these ratings can be found at http://reviews.greatplacetowork.com/kimball-international.
“We strive every day to provide an environment and live a culture where our employees can learn, grow, be productive and have fun. An engaged workforce delivers quality products and services which in turn enables us to build success – for customers, shareowners and the communities in which we operate. The employee feedback we receive from the surveys is analyzed to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Our goal is to be the employer of choice and listening to the voice of our people is critical,” said Lonnie Nicholson, Chief Administrative Officer of Kimball International.
According to the study, 77 percent of the company’s employees said it was a great place to work. They completed 1403 surveys, resulting in a 90 percent confidence level and a margin of error of ± 1.59.
“We applaud Kimball International for seeking certification and releasing its employees’ feedback,” said Kim Peters, Executive Vice President of Great Place to Work’s Certification Program. “These ratings measure its capacity to earn its own employees’ trust and create a great workplace – critical metrics that anyone considering working for or doing business with Kimball International should take into account as an indicator of high performance.”
