Neal First Relocation Grant Recipient
The grant incentivizes out-of-state workers to move to Dubois County.
DECEMBER 15, 2021 – Dubois County Relocation Impact Grant
Justin Neal has become the first recipient of the Dubois County Relocation Impact Grant. This grant is provided in partnership with The Dubois County Community Foundation and Radius Indiana and is part of the Make My Move/Choose Southern Indiana initiative with TMap to incentivize out-of-state workers to move to Dubois County.
Justin, originally from Huntingburg, is in the process of retiring from the U.S. Air Force after a 20 year career. He is a decorated veteran with 11 deployments to his credit. Justin is a Master Sergeant (E7) with a bachelors degree in Human Resources and has training as an aircraft mechanic.
As Justin started looking at retirement, he could have decided to settle down near any major airport or military installation, but ultimately wanted to raise his two children in Dubois County with his wife, Jennifer, who is also a Dubois County native. Justin will be working at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center through the military skill bridge program as he transitions to civilian employment in human resources.
This grant opportunity provides assistance to the Neal family in establishing their new life back home in Dubois County.
