Funding

Dubois Strong is a resource for accessing funds for new startups, business expansion and companies looking to relocate. We work closely with local, state and federal agencies to help businesses cut through red tape, getting funding where its needed for new jobs and economic opportunities. Direct assistance, grants and tax credits are just a few of the ways that funding can help your business.

Enterprise Loan Fund (ELF)

The Enterprise Loan Fund is for “gap financing” of business ventures that create and retain job opportunities in Dubois County. Eligibility for this loan program is based upon location within the geographical boundaries of Dubois County, Indiana. Loans will be targeted to industrial and commercial business organizations where potential job creation and retention are greatest. ELF will also target loans to businesses and industries with economic growth potential that would have additional positive economic impacts within Dubois County and the surrounding area.

Indiana Finance Authority (IFA) Small Bond Program

Manufacturing companies and certain not-for-profit organizations with financing needs of $3 million or less may qualify for the IFA’s Small Bond Program. The Program offers reduced time frames, reduced fees and less paperwork to qualifying projects. Smaller companies may find it easier to access the tax-exempt market with the IFA’s Small Bond Program, where banks purchase and hold the bonds. IFA recommends that you contact your lender to determine if this program is right for you.
