Roads & Interstate Access
We are conveniently located near I-64 and I-69. Our centralized midwest location streamlines your commute time, travel plans and logistics of products. Urban amenities are only a short drive away with Bloomington, Evansville and Louisville being about a 60 minute drive. Travel to larger metropolitan areas like Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Nashville are approximately 2 - 3 hours away. This connectivity makes Dubois County only a day’s drive from half of the U.S. Markets and 80% of the total U.S. population.
Railroads & Logistics
Dubois County has direct access to Norfolk Southern Rail System including connection to the Ports of New Orleans, Charleston, Savannah, the Great Lakes and all major markets east of the Mississippi River. This rail network creates an easy solution for transport of goods across the country.
Airports
We are fortunate enough to have a regional airport right here in Dubois County. The Dubois County Airport Authority owns and operates the Huntingburg Regional Airport (KHNB). Their facility is located along US 231, three miles south of the City of Huntingburg in Southern Indiana. Interstate 64 and US 231 intersect just three miles south of the Huntingburg Airport, while I-69 is 22 miles to the west.
Dubois County Airport Authority (DCAA) acts as the fixed base operator (FBO) and provides public refueling and hangar space. Dubois County Flight Services now focuses their mission on aircraft maintenance, corporate aircraft management, aircraft sales & brokering and aircraft leasing. The airport’s thirteen hangars currently store 30+ aircraft ranging from single-engine aircraft, turboprop aircraft and multi-engine corporate jets.
